Kostas and His Bad Habits Band
Born in Greece, Kostas Lazarides moved to Montana with his family when he was seven. Bringing a love for music and dance from his native country, he performed in Montana as a singer and songwriter throughout the 1980's, identifying himself simply as Kostas.
Discovered by record producer Tony Brown, Kostas's first cut as a songwriter, "Timber, I'm Falling in Love" was recorded by Patty Loveless, becoming her first Number One hit. His Bad Habits bandmates include long-time friends Mark Dixon (congas), Mark Whitman (drums), Kelly Williams (bass) and Bill Hammond (guitar).

Irish Music
Sundays at 7:30 pm

Sunday nights at the 317 are a time to feast your ears on tradition. A group of Irish music enthusiasts play lilting tunes to bring life to an otherwise sleepy night at the pub.
It's a free session, and anyone with passion to sing or play can join in and learn or simply come to watch.

Bluegrass
Tuesdays at 7:00 pm

Celebrating cultural heritage is usually best done in the company of others. For one Bozeman group, it also requires the cozy corner of a pub, a few pints of Guinness and years of dedication.
This is also a free event and if you have musical skill and enjoy bluegrass, you can join the band during our Tuesday night jam sessions.
